GAME DAY ROLES

Game Day Duties to be Rostered by the Team Manager

There are numerous volunteers needed in a team on Game Day! These vary depending on if the team is playing at Home or Away and the different requirements depending on age. This list does not complete your rostered duties to the Parents, but these are required before the game commences. Parents should know well in advanced when they are on roster. If the Volunteer does not have a Child at the club and are over the age 18 for example: - An older brother, Uncle, Grand Parent then they are required by law to have a Volunteers/Working with Children Card. It's up to the Team Manager to make sure the team complies with this Club Policy at all times.

This can be fun and very rewarding, not to mention one of the clubs' biggest sources of income which the Canteen give back to the club for equipment and uniforms for your kids. So please encourage your volunteer to front up smiling.

Scoreboard Duty

We have 2 digital scoreboards at the club now, One for the South oval and one for the North Oval.  The Team Manager should be able to show the volunteer how to operate the laptop. WA Football also has a 60 Point Margin rule in place where the scoreboard stops once the margin goes over 60 points.
