The South Coogee Junior Football Club was established in 1972 and is one of the oldest Football Clubs in the district. Currently the club has approximately 550 boys & girls from pre-primary to Y12.

South Coogee Junior Football Club is a junior football club aiming to promote, advance, foster and cultivate the game of football.

The clubs volunteers strive to assist in the educational advancement of the community by means of the development of a sense of fair play and a love of sport, in particular, football.
The committee, coaches and team managers will educate, train, coach and encourage members of the club in the game of football so that all members have the opportunity to reach their maximum potential

South Coogee Junior Football Club has been recognised by the Western Australian Football Commission and the South Fremantle Football Club as a powerful club that has produced several AFL stars such as Glen Jakovich (West Coast Eagles), Clint Jones (St Kilda), and Jacob Surjan (Port Adelaide). As well as many WAFL players and including 2018/19 WAFL premiership player Ben Sokol.
